Our privacy statement

This website doesn't track you. Exactly what happens when you visit, and what we never collect.

Short version: we don’t use analytics, cookies, advertising, social media widgets, third-party fonts or third-party scripts. We don’t have accounts or forms. We don’t know who you are.

What happens when you visit

This site is hosted by Netlify, which serves the pages to your browser. Like any web host, Netlify’s servers process technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Netlify may keep short-term logs for that purpose under its own privacy policy. We don’t use Netlify’s analytics products, and we don’t receive or look at information that identifies visitors.

Everything else is loaded from this site. The typeface is stored here rather than fetched from a font service, so no other company learns you visited.

The tools

The tools run entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere. Some tools save your progress in your browser’s local storage, on your device only, so you can come back later. Each of those tools has a button to clear it. Downloads are created in your browser.

If you share a device with someone, remember that saved progress and downloaded files stay on that device. On our safety pages, the “Leave this site quickly” button replaces the current page in your tab history, but it doesn’t clear your browsing history.

If you email us

If you email hello@faradayhq.com, we’ll receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, we don’t add you to any list, and we delete correspondence when it’s no longer needed. You can ask to see or correct what we hold about you.

If you contribute through GitHub, your GitHub username and contributions are public on GitHub, under GitHub’s terms.
